WITH YERVANT
I had the pleasure of being chosen to take part in a 2-day workshop in Thessaloniki, Greece (28-29/04/2009) with one of the greatest photographers in the world, Yervant, who lives in Australia, but photographs weddings all over the world.
Yervant is of Armenian descent and born in the Athenian prefecture of Kokkinia. His father was the official photographer of the king of Ethiopia and he started his first steps following his father's lead.
The knowledge and experience obtained during those two days were exceptional!
The first day, he showed us the way he takes photographs, certain techniques, how he sets the couples and how he makes them feel comfortable. The shoot was made both inside a hotel, as well as outside, in streets and cafes of the area. Following from this, he showed us how we can present and make our photos stand out, by using specialised software. His wife also made a superb marketing presentation around wedding photography and photo sales. The second day, we were given the chance to take photos of brides & grooms, based on what we learn the day before.
All these photos are from that second day of the workshop.
Feel free to post your thoughts and comments about these photos in the guestbook
