"01.04.2013 "Take the Picture!", my new online magazine!!!

I do have a new magazine but it’s a “Flipboard 2.0? magazine I created called “Take the Picture!” and it’s only available via the App Flipboard 2.0 (available for the iPad and the iPhone). This ability to create magazines on the fly is a new feature of Flipboard just released last week, and “Take the Picture” is a collection of photos, videos and articles I find each day from all different types of online media (mostly from photographic sites and blogs) that I think you might like. It’s live (I’ve been updating it two or three times a day), and it’s free — just launch Flipboard and do a search for “Take the Picture” or for my name and then you can subscribe to it (still free) and see it right on Flipboard. Whichever article I chose last winds up being the cover image (as seen below), so the cover will be changing several times a day. Hope you find it helpful.

"2nd PWS Convention of wedding photographers, 1-5 March 2012, Athens, Greece

This convention was a huge success! I have spent 4 days with some great and amazing photographers from all the world showing and teaching us how to improve our work and style. My brain is overdosed with so many informations...but it was one of the most interesting convention i have ever participate...thank you all!!!

22-06-2010 until 26-09-2010 - Photographic exhibition for the HARLEY DAVIDSON SUPER RALLY 2010 event

In May 2010, the HARLEY DAVIDSON SUPER RALLY 2010 took place in the city of Patras. This is a Pan-European meeting, and not only, of owners of HD motorbikes. The meeting lasted for 5 days and included a lot of happenings and events, where a world record was broken. To be exact, it was the record for the number of motorbikes that crossed a bridge at the same time. That bridge was the Rio-Antirio bridge. Inspired from this meeting, the photographic group of Patras IDIFOS has organised a photography exhibition, whose focus are those motorbikes. The exhibition will last until the 26th of September 2010 and is hosted at the INTEAL venue in Patras. We sincerely hope that you will visit and we'll see many of you in person.

19 May 2010 - 2nd Photographic exhibition of club IDIFOS - Photos from RioAntirio bridge

For 2nd year i particiated in the photographic echibition of our club "IDIFOS" who took place, again, at Pikili stoa wine bar at Patra,Greece. This year the subject were photographs from Rio-Antirio bridge and the photos from all members were in a higher level. I like to thanks all my friends and the people of town who visited us, this exhibition was a really success!

10-11 May 2010 - With Kevin Kubota in Athens

I just finished a 2-day workshop in Athens with the great American wedding photographer, Kevin Kubota. Kevin is an amazing photographer and during these two days he showed us how to be creative, capture techniques, off-camera flash techniques (to make flash look like natural light), workflow with Lightroom, enhancing in Photoshop, and Sales and marketing tips.

06 July 2009 - With Jerry and Nick Ghionis in Athens, Greece

I recently had the pleasure of taking place in another superb one-day wedding photography workshop.
This took place in Athens and was organised by two of the top photographers in the world, Jerry & Nick Ghionis. Jerry & Nick are of Greek decadency, but are based in Australia and are asked to cover weddings all over the world, since they are fantastic photographers. Especially Jerry has really dominated in recent photographic awards and international competitions around the world and Nick is following in his footsteps. They are extremely nice, tireless and pleasant guys, always with a great sense of humour and willing to answer all questions. It was another superb experience and it definitely helped me in developing my skills further and take even better photographs of the happy couples.

09-15 June 2009 - 1st photographic exhibition of "IDIFOS"

I participated in the 1st photographic exhibition of club "IDIFOS" which took place at "Pikili Stoa" wine bar in Patra, Greece. Lot of people visited us and we had the opportunity to met people to show our work and talked about photography and other stuff.
This exhibition was a really success!

28-29 April 2009 - With Yervant at Thessaloniki, Greece

I have being chosen to take part in a 2-day photography workshop in Thessaloniki, with one of the greatest photographers in the world, Yervant, who lives in Australia, but photographs weddings all over the world.
I had a fantastic time and Yervant showed us a lot of interesting facts, without ever trying to hide something. I strongly believe that taking advice from one of the top photographers in the world is one of the best possible ways in improving our own photos and skills.
